Annual Golf & Tennis Classic
to Benefit Blythedale
Children’s Hospital
VALHALLA, NY (September, 2010) –
Blythedale Children’s Hospital’s 14th Annual Golf &
Tennis Classic will take place Monday, September 13, 2010 at the
Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale, NY. The event will include
afternoon tennis or a full day of golf, followed by a putting
contest, cocktail reception, dinner, live auction, and a raffle in
the evening. Golf registration and brunch will begin at 10:30 a.m.
and tennis will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Donations from the event will be
directed toward Blythedale’s Journey of Hope Campaign. Blythedale
Children’s Hospital is currently constructing a new 56,000
square-foot inpatient hospital that will feature an infant and
toddler unit as well as dedicated units for the specialized care of
children with traumatic brain injuries and adolescent patients. The
new building is on schedule to be completed in fall 2011. The 2009
Golf & Tennis Classic raised over $150,000 for this new facility.
